Eskom has started scheduled load shedding since 6am on Tuesday morning according to the schedule that has been published countrywide. This comes after a one day delay by the utility.
“This week is week one of a two week rotating or run-in schedule. We were meant to start yesterday (Monday) but we were trying to clarify some last minute questions by various key stakeholders on the implications of the load shedding,” says Senior Manager at Eskom Tony Stott.
Stott says they were able to resolve those issues hence scheduled load shedding only started today.
