The ANC's Treasurer-General, Mathews Phosa was supposed to meet with former ANC chairperson Terror Lekota today but the meeting never took place because Lekota never showed up while ANC delegation waited for him at Luthuli House.
The ANC says they wanted to engage comrade Lekota that as a senior ANC member he should be aware that party issue are best sorted out within party structures not through the media.
ANC Liaison officer at Luthuli house, Brian Sokuthu says it was against this background that Treasurer General Mathews Phosa wanted to meet Lekota.
Sokuthu says it is regrettable to note that from 10am the ANC delegation waited at Luthuli House with no sign of Terror Lekota.
He added that issue of ANC should not be address in the media but through internal dialogue.
