Claremont police are appealing to the public in trying to locate a missing Indonesian woman.

The woman, who is employed as a nanny in Bishop’s Court, was last seen at her employer’s residence on Sunday afternoon.

The 25-year-old nanny is known as Eti.

Eti is approximately 1.6 metre in height, fair of complexion; average built and has black shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a green and grey long sleeve shirt, a green scarf, a blue-black pants and grey and whit pair of sandals.

Claremont Police captain Angie Latchman said according to the employer, she does not speak English and has only been in the country for the past year and a half.

“At this stage they have no idea whether she has friend or relatives in South Africa and she does not speak with any establishment without the company of her employers.”

Latchman urged anyone with information to contact Inspector Deon Bock at SAPS Claremont on 082 415 8008 or CrimeStop on 08600 10111.
