The Ekurhuleni Metro Municipality in Gauteng has warned those who buy and sell government subsidised houses illegally, that they will soon face the full might of the law.
Mayoral housing committee member, Vivian Chauke, says the municipality is aware that people are using fraudulent letterheads and stamps to sell houses.
Municipality spokesperson, Zweli Dlamini, has encouraged community members to report anyone illegally selling the low cost housing.
