The chief executive officer of Italtile, Gianpaolo Ravazzotti, is confirmed to be one of the nine people who died in a plane crash in the sea off the Southern Cape.
Italtile’s company plane went missing yesterday afternoon after a failed landing at the Plettenberg Bay’s Robberg Nature Reserve.
Aside from Ravazzotti, six other top managers from the company were also on board, as well as two crew members. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
National Sea Rescue Institute says this morning wreckage confirmed to be that of a missing aircraft was located by rescue workers during an ongoing search.
