Cape Town Disaster Risk Management officials are readying themselves for another cold snap.

The weather office has predicted rainfall between 10 and 20 millimetres across the Western Cape today.

Officials say low lying areas, including some informal settlements, are likely to be hardest hit.

The South African Weather Services has issued an advisory of aggressive winter weather conditions across the province over the next few days.
