Teen Goes Missing at Cape Town Beach

The search continues for a missing 18 year old boy who went missing at Milnerton Lagoon Beach, on Saturday. Strong rip currents on Saturday resulted in several non fatal drowning incidents. One of these incidents was a group of 14 teenagers who were swept out from shore.


While waiting for the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) and disaster management teams to arrive on site, several bystanders swam out to rescue the teens. Two of the teens were rescued by the bystanders. One of the teens aged 18 from Manderley, Cape Town was lost in the surf. Police divers are continuing to search for the mission teen.
