The South African police services say they are ready for EFF protest

 The South African Police Services says they will deploy enough members on Monday during the protest of the Economic Freedom Fighters.

The EFF has called for a national shutdown in response to the challenges that are facing the country and these challenges include the energy crisis and the high unemployment rate.

Police say they have put measures in place to ensure the safety of everyone during the protest and According to the EFF leader Julius Malema they do not encourage looting or violence during their protest.
