The City of Cape Town is to initiate a variety of exciting projects, both to celebrate October Transport Month and further to improve the metro pole’s transport system.

During this month each project hosted will allow people of all ages to get involved and help each person to understand what transport is and how it works. Elizabeth Thompson one of the City of Cape Town’s Councillors says “we are introducing the Month of Transport for October and this is not only a provisional event but also a nationally.”

This event was started a few years back by the Minister Transport in order. So all municipalities and provinces have a month of events concentrating on public transport. The month focus’ on what public transport really is.
