Woodstock police arrested a suspect involved in a robbery yesterday evening at a house in Roman Road in Observatory.
Three suspects entered the residence armed with knives and threatened four victims.
The suspect then ordered the victims to hand over their belongings.
A struggle ensued between on of the victims and the suspects, resulting in the victim being stabbed.
Sergeant Hilton Malila said that on arrival. The police arrested one of the suspects and recovered the stolen cell phone and MP3 player.
“The other two suspects fled the scene with a cell phone and are still at large. The 28-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate Court on Monday.”
