Yesterday four youngsters were rescued from drowning in two separate incidents in Cape Town beaches where a four old female rescued in Hout bay and three males were rescued in Camps Bay. Craig Lambinon of the NSRI said the three males were under the ages of 12.
The girl was treated at the scene by metro paramedics and taken to hospital by a metro ambulance in a serious condition.
Shortly thereafter a Camps Bay tidal pool the three males were rescued from the tidal pool.
“They were transported to a hospital, one in a serious condition and the two are in a stable condition” said Lambinon.
“We are urging families to take extra care of their children particularly when the beaches are full”
“Children should be under proper adult supervision around any water particularly along the coast and swimming pools.
