A man was left seriously injured after a collision
last night between a light motor vehicle and motorbike at the Otto Du Plesiss
and David Baird Road intersection in Table View.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and found
both the vehicle and bike in the middle of the road. The biker was found lying
in the road a few metres away from his motorbike.
Upon assessment it was found that the man had
sustained serious injuries to his leg and hand, leaving him in a critical
condition.
Once treated, the patient was transported to a
private hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was assessed and found to
have escaped injury.
