Former Wits University SRC
president Mcebo Dlamini has urged the University to give students more time to
study to ensure the university maintains its high standard.
Dlamini was speaking after engagements
with university management yesterday, who later confirmed that they will treat
the issues raised by students with urgency.
The #FeesMustFall movement
leader was released on bail on Wednesday after being arrested on a string of
charges.
Dlamini maintains that the
university’s standards depend on the university pay attention to its calls.
