R12m in drought relief

According to reports,it is believed that the Western Cape welcomed a R12m allocation from National government for drought relief yesterday.

Parts of the province continued to experience drought conditions, this affecting developing farmers.


The Central Karoo, the West Coast region, and parts of the Cape Winelands received isolated rains, but remained dry due to below average rainfall.
