CPUT postpones exams

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology has postponed exams. Assessments were supposed to commence today at several locations off-campus.

But there have been threats by anti-fees protesters to disrupt exams.


The institution’s Lauren Kansley says, “During a late-night meeting between university stakeholders, which includes the Fees Must Fall activists, the SRC and their union representatives, the decision to postpone their exams by one week was taken. This is since the majority of CPUT students were supposed to write their exams today.
