An unidentified woman’s was found laying in the road on Tuesday evening at an accident scene on the R300, police said.
Delft police spokesperson Joe Wilson said the deceased was allegedly run over by a white Hyundai bakkie with a CEO registration number.
“The deceased was wearing a blue and white striped woolen top, blue jeans and white slippers,” he said.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the accident is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Alton Marthinus on 082 411 3087 or (021) 954 9000 or Crime Stop 08600 10111.
