The Independent Electoral Commission says it will keep a close eye on the weather ahead of its voter registration drive this weekend.
Registration will kick at 8am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The IEC says this timeframe will give voters more than enough time to register to vote in the local government elections at the end of May.
The Commission has however raised concern that some citizens will not be able to reach polling stations as a result of heavy flooding in the Northern parts of the country.
