The Water Research Commission has revealed it wil standardise all municipal accounts in an effort to make it easier for people to understand.
The decision comes after the Commission said in a statement that consumers pay their accounts monthly , but are not clear on how much water or electricity they have used.
It said a study conducted amongst 2 500 people, showed that less than 8% of the people who participated could figure out their monthly water and electricity usage.
