Two suspects were arrested yesterday morning in Bishops Lavis, after a shooting incident took place in Vygie Street.
The victim and a friend were standing outside a house when two armed men approached them.
Sergeant November Filander said one of the men produced a firearm and fired several shots, wounding the 26-year-old victim in the shoulder.
The victim was rushed to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
“The motive is being investigated, including the possibility that the incident could have been gang related.”
The two suspects, aged 21 and 22, are expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate court tomorrow.
