South Africa’s legal fraternity has welcomed the appointment of Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo.
President Jacob Zuma named Ngcobo as the country’s fourth Chief Justice yesterday.
The Law Society of South Africa said it is confidant that the country’s judiciary and courts are in good hands.
The organisation also believes that Ngcobo would continue to protest and promote the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the rule of law as his predecessor Pius Langa. Ngcobo will start his duties on 12 of October.
