Multi-Purpose Youth Hub for Beaufort West Youth

Beaufort West Mayor, Truman Prince says apart from the challenge of youth unemployment which faces the area and the country at large, there is the challenge of social ills. Prince was speaking at the opening of a multi-purpose Youth Hub which is set to empower youngsters in Beaufort West in the Central Karoo. 

The Rural Development and Land Reform Department started building the hub nearly four years-ago, amounting to 52 million RANDS, following an SABC insert about the lack of recreational facilities for the town's youth. The state-of-the-art centre provides skills training in various fields, as well as sport and recreational activities.
