Constantia man killed in home

In a gruesome attack from robbers a 59-year-old man was killed in Constantia on Tuesday.

It is alleged that two men gained access to the plush neighbourhood villa through an open window.

To their dismay the robbers found the owner and a cousin in the lounge. A shot was fired at the owner. Dennis Nixon sustained a bullet wound to his neck and died instantly.

Nobody else was hurt during the incident.

Police spokesperson Inspector Bernadine Steyn says the suspects took cellphones and jewellery and fled the scene on foot.

Inspector Ezr October of the Wynberg police station said that they “need to educate the community, that people are being robbed in their houses.”

He said he, “understands that people don’t want to be locked up in their houses, but people need to safeguard their personal safety at night.”

October said that Constantia is not a lit up area, so robbers may think of it as an easy opportunity.

Police are investigating a case of murder and house robbery and anyone with information can contact the Wynberg Police Station on 021 799 1400.

This is what I HATE about this country, the pathetic police, the high murder rate and non-existent punishment system.

This might be a beautiful country with great weather, but it will only last that long until everyone is tired.

You ain't seen nothin' yet!

They want what you got and they will do anything to get it simply because they think that whitey stole it from them in the first place.

10-20 years from now SA will be a majorly decayed state. How are you going to deal with 30-35 million utterly destitute people? There is not a single prosperous African country. They simply do not exist. Good Luck.

I am getting out of here for the sake of my kids and my grand kids. Canada, here I come.

Blow it out your ear pal.

Your corrupt scumbag ANC government is the one to blame for the spreading decay in SA. The sooner you and them stop blaming the past the sooner you can make a reasonable go of it, but somehow I doubt that the ANC will rise to the challenge because they are too busy trying to buy Mercede's and BMW's.

I will be laughing all the way to Canada soon. Thanks for the education and the good times, now I am going somewhere where we will be safe and where there is a future for my kids and where we as whites are not discriminated against.

If you want to see SA's future, have a look and your buddy Mugarbage in Zimbabwe.

Have a nice life in your decaying state ......Mate!
