Nightclub owner Michael Jackson who stands on trial for fatally shooting a street child has had his case postponed yesterday in the Cape High Court till next week.

Jackson is the former co- owner of the Teazers nightclub in Bellville and Cape Town. He has been charged for the murder of Xolani Zodwana in May two years ago.

He also faces charges of assaulting another street child.

His defence, according to a daily paper, had to present a ballistic report before Judge Dumisani Zondi in court but the prosecutor said that she did not have a chance to read the report.

His defence counsel Mannie Witz said that he will prove that the bullet which killed Zodwana was not from his client’s firearm.
