4 men were arrested on a charge of armed robbery, when they robbed a petrol station in Koeberg Road in Brooklyn.
The 4 men approached a cashier at the filling station and held her at gun point, when they robbed the business of cash and cigarettes.
The suspect fled the scene in a Ford Bakkie.
Superintendent Andre Traut said Inspector Trevor Dickenson patrolled the area and questioned eyewitnesses in the surrounding area.
“This bakkie was described to the investigating officer, and determine to solve the crime; he searched the area and questioned eyewitnesses.”
These clues lead Dickenson to a residential house, where he then arrested the four suspects.
They are due to make a court appearance today.
