A 34 year old male has been arrested in Woodstock, for dealing in drugs worth R50 000-00.
The arrest follows after police obtained a searched warrant at a drug outlet situated in Regent Street Woodstock.
“During the searched of the premises, we confiscated 132 pierces of heroine, 90 mandrax tablets, nine packets of tik, and a plastic bag that contains one heroine rock”.
“The estimated street value of the drugs is R50 000-00. We also confiscated and substantial amount of cash, in the possession of the suspect said police spokesperson Sergeant Hilton Malila.
The suspect will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s court on Monday on charges of dealing in drugs.
