A 7.65mm pistol, believed to be linked to a murder in Kensington two weeks ago, was confiscated during a Metro Police drug raid in the area late last night.
In a joint operation, the Cape Town Metro Police Substance Abuse Unit and South African Police Services, arrested four suspects during the raid.
The suspects, four men and two women aged between 22 and 35 years old, were arrested for the possession of illegal substances and the illegal possession of the pistol and four rounds of 7.65mm ammunition.
The confiscated drugs, which have a street value of more than R33 000 include 21 grams of tik, 5 whole mandrax tablets, 4 half mandrax tablets and 36 straws of tik.
The four suspects will appear in court soon.
