South African Football Association President Kirsten Nematandani says his presidency is legal and that the football federation should concentrate on delivering a successful World Cup.
Premier Soccer League boss Irvin Khoza is reportedly seeking legal advice after he pulled out of the presidential race over the weekend with Local Organising Committee chief Danny Jordaan.
Nematandani was elected SAFA president where he stood unopposed.
However, the PSL is now disputing the election process.
Nematandani said he won fair and square.
In a statement Nematandani was quoted as saying he has been elected unopposed and doesn’t think any other person would take that as an issue.
