The search for the 38 year old man who believed has drowned in the Monwabisi beach in the False Bay Cost continues.
The man from Khayelitsha was at the beach yesterday afternoon with his two children and a friend.
He was last seen disappearing in the surf while swimming in the surf line.
“The search was suspended last night after a full scale and extensive sea and shore search has revealed no signs of the missing man who is presumed to have drowned,” said NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon.
However, Limbinon confirmed that the search continues this morning under the direction of the Police Dive Unite and NSRI volunteers.
