The Cancer Association of South Africa is calling all interested parties to take part in Relay for Life, which honours those affected by cancer, from February 2009 until March 2009. For details, call 021 689 5347.
The Feminine Divine will stage their annual belly dance show on Women’s Day, August 9th at the Bergvliet High School hall. Tickets for the matinee at 2pm will cost R20 each and tickets for the show at 7pm will cost R35 each. All proceeds will be donated to St. Georges and St. Anne’s home for girls. The Fish Hoek Dramatic Society will be holding auditions for the stage production, “The 70s Show” on Saturday 30 August. The audition will take place at the Muizenberg Methodist ChurchHall. 6 female and 6 male, with a good singing voice and minimal acting experience, of any age are required.
