Seven people have been injured in a collision involving a taxi, car and bakkie on the N7.
The accident occurred yesterday afternoon opposite the Grand West casino in near Goodwood.
ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadely says the passengers sustained moderate and minor injuries during the accident.
“One patient sustained moderate injuries and the rest sustained minor injuries, the patients were taken to Tygerberg Hospital and Vanguard Day Hospital respectively,” said Wadely.
Wadely says one lane of the N7 was closed towards Epping which caused a slight delay in traffic.
It is believed that most of the passengers traveling in the taxi were on their way back from church.
