The Democratic Alliance is accusing an individual in President Jacob Zuma’s office of making threatening phone calls.
A man alleges that gun-wielding VIP Unit bodyguards manhandled him and his German passenger on a Cape Town highway.
According to the DA’s Dianne Kohler Barnard, the alleged victim received a threatening call after the event from a cellphone number which the DA has established belongs to presidential spokesperson Zizi Kodwa.
Kohler Barnard wants the Presidency to explain the call. She also wants action against what she describes as “blue light bullies”.
