One person killed and six injured in an accident in Cape Town

One person has been killed and six seriously injured in an accident.
A bakkie and a car collided on the N1 highway near the Monte Vista off-ramp near Cape Town last night.
ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said the vehicles collided and the bakkie crashed into a barrier next to the road, before overturning.
The six people who were injured were taken to hospital.
Two of the injured people had head injures and the other four people sustained less severe injuries.
