Eskom in the Western Cape has restored electricity supply to affected areas

Eskom in the Western Cape was able to effectively restore the impacted areas' electrical supply on Monday. The regions include Stellenbosch, Kylemore, Nomzamo, Sir Lowry's, and Klapmuts.

Eskom spokesperson in the Western Cape, Kyle Cookson, says there are still some places in Klapmuts without power, but said that it should be back up by Wednesday.
He advised residents to report an issue or follow the status of an issue, to use the MyEskom Customer App and the Alfred Chatbot.

Eskom apologised for the inconvenience caused to customers.
