Two die in a collision near Stellenbosch

Two people died after a train and a car collided between Stellenbosch and Vlottenberg railway stations this morning.

It is believed that a train drove over a Light Duty Vehicle and caused the collision.

Both occupants of the car died on the scene.

Metro EMS Rescue was called and is still on scene to rescue the bodies.
