Members of parliament are demanding to know what action the correctional services department will take to stamp out sexual violence in men's prisons.
The Correctional Services Committee expressed dismay after a briefing by the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation.
The committee’s Vincent Smith says he wants answers from the department when it next appears in Parliament for a briefing on security on May 12th.
