NUM praises Impala Platinum

The National Union of Mineworkers has honoured Impala Platinum for re-employing 17,200 workers.
The miners were dismissed after they took on an illegal strike.
Union leaders said Implats was under no position to re employ the workers.
Num spokesperson Lesiba Seshoka said when you take on an illegal strike you risk being fired.
