SA man stabs Israeli soldier

A South African man is being held by police in Tel Aviv after he stabbed an off duty Israeli soldier in a bar brawl on Friday.

Adam Michael Gringruz was immigrated to Israel from Johannesburg in October 2011.

He and two of his friends were taken into custody.

According to officials the soldier was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle. He is now recovering in hospital.
