City of Cape Town to open a Town planning office

The City of Cape Town is going to open City Planning’s Table Bay District Office. It is reported that the offices will be opened tomorrow afternoon.

The City’s Director of Planning and Building Development Management Cheryl Walters said that the department has consolidated into eight offices.

The 17 offices the city inherited when seven separate municipalities were combined into the Unicity in December year 2000.

Cheryl said “the office will deal with all the applications with regards with regards building plans land use, management plans”

They were supported by Heritage, Geographical Information Services (GCIS), City Specials and Urban people rise.
