On Saturday two males aged 22 and 23 from Bonteheuwel were wounded during a shooting incident in Teak Road, Bonteheuwel.
It is alleged that three unknown males argued with the victims in Teak Road. They left and shortly thereafter returned in a silver Golf 4 vehicle. They fired a number of shots at the victims, wounding the 22 year old in his right leg and the 23 year old in his left arm, right shoulder and right leg.
Both victims are currently in a serious condition in a nearby hospital. A search for the suspects was immediately launched and moments later the silver Golf 4 with the three occupants was spotted on the corner of Oliehout Street and Netreg Road in Netreg.
The three suspects aged 23, 26 and 27 years old were arrested. No firearms were found, but our investigation still continues.
The suspects are facing charges of Attempted Murder and will appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate Court today.
