On Monday night police legally raided a house in Maitland where it is alleged that illegal drug activities were taking place. Two men were arrested and are now facing a charge of dealing in drugs.
“During the operation police arrested two males aged 37 and 39 years old. We also seized 500 Ecstacy tablets with an estimate value of R250 000 and Tik with a value of R18 000,” said police spokesperson Superintendent Billy Jones.
Jones said that the suspect are expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court today.
