South Africa represented on Nuclear Security Conference

The International Relations and Cooperation Minister Nkoana-Mashabane arrived in Austria. 

She is leading South African delegation to the International Conference on Nuclear Security, organised by the international Atomic Energy Agency.

The conference is scheduled for 1st -3rd July 2013.

DIRCO Spokesperson Clayson Monyela said the conference is expected to adopt the declaration emphasizing the responsibility for nuclear security with individual states and South Africa is the only country that uses the nuclear power plant at Koeberg.
