ER24 Paramedics were called
to an accident whereby an 18 year old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the
R24 near Krugersdorp last night.

Majija said the screaming teenager was found lying along the road, in pain. Her
leg was partially cut off in the collision and she also sustained abdominal
injuries.
“ER24 who were
alerted about the scene by bystanders, immediately treated the patient. Stabilisation
of the teenager continued en route to Leratong Provincial
Hospital
The vehicle that hit her was
not found on scene.
The incident is under
investigation by local authorities.
