Police in George are on a manhunt for a suspect believed to be involved in the rape of an 86-year-old elderly woman in Rosemore George.
It is believed that the woman was raped in her home after she was woken up
by a sound of breaking glass at her bedroom window. When the 86-year-old went
to investigate she found the suspect walking towards her and that is when he
odered her to lay down. The suspect covered her mouth and raped her.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said we also investigating all clues that have been
gathered at the scene. The only description we have of the suspect currently is
that he is short, bold, coloured man.
We appeal to anybody with information to call the local police station or
the FCS unit 044 803 4618.
