A fire ravaged through eight shacks yesterday at Samora Machel in Phillipi.

Johan Minnie of Disaster Risk Management confirms that the fire left no-one injured.

The fire started in the early hours of the morning, according to a daily report.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The survivors of a fire earlier this week in Samora Machel have received building materials and have already rebuilt their homes. The fire destroyed 12 shacks.
