ANC voting formula for Mangaung completed

The ANC has announced the voting formula for the party’s national elective conference in Mangaung in December.

KwaZulu-Natal will have the most voting delegates with 974, followed by the Eastern Cape with 676 and Limpopo with 574.

Gauteng will have 500 voting delegates, Mpumalanga 467, the Free State 324, and North West 234.

Only 176 voting delegates will come from the Northern Cape and 178 from the Western Cape. Forty-five delegates reach will represent ANC Women's, Youth and Veterans’ Leagues.

From the delegates President Jacob Zuma stands a good chance of being voted for a second term.
