The African Christian Democratic Party has raised concerns about Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi’s recent call for condoms to be distributed at school level.

ACDP MP Cherryllyn Dudley said that it will not solve the problem of sexual activity among active school going teenagers but will worsen and just promote them by encouraging underage sexual activity.

Meanwhile President Jacob Zuma today launched the Integrated School Health Programme.

The project aims to bring primary healthcare services and advice to the country's pupils.

Zuma said school pupils will have their eyes, ears and level of nutrition examined.

Zuma added that pupils will have access to contraceptives and HIV testing.
