DA- Minister Pule must account for SABC deception

The Democratic Alliance calls for the Minister of Communications Dina Pule to explain why she deceived South Africa about the success of the SABC’s turnaround strategies.

 This comes after media reports reported of continuing corruption at the public broadcaster.

DA Shadow Minister of Communications Marian Shinn said that recently the Minister said she was satisfied with the SABC’s progress but this was either an attempt to gloss over the truth.

Shinn added that the media reports also point to the failure of the acting Chief Operating Officer, to exercise the calibre of management controls.
