The trial of Anni Dewani’s alleged killer was expected to continue at the Western Cape High Court on Monday.

Xolile Mngeni is on trial for the hijacking, robbing and killing of Dewani in Gugulethu on November 13, 2010.

She was on honeymoon with her husband Shrien at the time. Mngeni has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In his last court appearance, the court allowed the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to use two key pieces of evidence in its case against him.
