The disciplinary hearing of suspended Cricket SA (CSA) chief executive Gerald Majola will go ahead next week, despite a special plea brought by his legal team.

Advocate Karel Tip, the independent chairman of Majola's hearing, on Friday dismissed the special plea and said the hearing would commence on Tuesday.

Majola was suspended in March after a long-running bonus scandal .

This was after the 2009 Indian Premier League T20 tournament which South Africa hosted.
