The Social Justice
Coalition will be holding four separate marches this weekend in
Khayelitsha.
The aim of the marches is to spread awareness about the recently established Commission of Inquiry investigating problems with policing in Khayelitsha.
SJC will be handing over a memorandum to officials from the offices of the Premier of theWestern Cape and the
Mayor of Cape Town.
SJC’s Will Stevens says they are in support of the inquiry however they are unsatisfied with the lack of inclusion of both the City of Cape Town of Metro Police in this investigation.
